The short version: Time4Turkey gives you estimated thawing and cooking times. Ovens, turkeys and thermometers vary, so always check that your turkey has reached a safe 165°F before serving. You're responsible for how you prepare and cook your food.

Using Time4Turkey

By using Time4Turkey.com or the Time4Turkey app, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use it.

Guidance only

Time4Turkey provides general cooking and thawing guidance for informational purposes only. The times are estimates based on published cooking charts and USDA food-safety guidance. They are not a guarantee that your food will be fully cooked or safe to eat.

Actual times depend on many things, including your oven, the size and shape of your turkey, how fully it's thawed, whether it's stuffed, the pan you use, and how often the oven door is opened.

Your responsibility

Use a food thermometer. Your turkey is done only when it reads at least 165°F in the thickest part of the thigh, the thickest part of the breast and, if stuffed, the center of the stuffing.
Thaw, store and handle raw poultry safely, and wash hands, utensils and surfaces that touch it.
Follow the instructions on your turkey's packaging and your oven's manual where they differ from Time4Turkey.
Use your own judgment. If something doesn't look or seem right, keep cooking and check again.

No warranties

Time4Turkey is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, completeness or fitness for a particular purpose. We may change, pause or stop Time4Turkey at any time.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Time4Turkey and its owners will not be liable for any illness, injury, loss or damage of any kind arising from your use of, or reliance on, Time4Turkey or the information it provides.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows when they last changed. Continuing to use Time4Turkey after a change means you accept the updated terms.
